PrinCE 560

 

The PrinCE 560 is one of the most flexible capillary electrophoresis systems. Both these systems are added with a second lift. This second lift is used to allow the change of outlet buffers at will.

 

Because of the dual lift approach, the PrinCE 550 and 560 is the most versatile of all CE instruments without external pressure possibilities. It is ideally suited for method development and routine analysis by one or more methods after another. The PrinCE 560 offers the possibility of sample and buffer cooling. Further the injection can be performed from short end. This reduces the effective capillary length. If the detector is used with a remote detector cell that fits into the oven compartment of the PrinCE, the capillary length can be reduced considerably.

 

Both PrinCE systems are fully automated and can handle up to 32 (or optional 40) samples without interference of the operator, while still maintaining 10 (or optional 5) buffer vials. Any combination of six segments (sample/buffer type) can be used. The operator can exchange the segments easily without needing any tools.

 

Under precisely controlled circumstances it is possible to use the PrinCE 550 and 560 for fraction collection.

 

The detector will typically be placed on top of the PrinCE, which will reduce bench space.

Injection modes Hydrodynamic injection uses patended Dynamic Compression Injection (DCI) to generate and apply a range of positive and negative pressures with controlled ramping (-180 to 250 mbar, 1 mbar resolution). Electrokinetic Injection features controlled ramping in voltage or current mode (max. 30 kV).

Przetworzone widma można następnie przeglądać przy pomocy programów, które również można pobrać korzystając z linków na naszej stronie (mMass, WSearch i in.).

Pliki mzXML można analizować za pomocą darmowego i dostępnego oprogramowania Mass++.

Oryginalne pliki .baf można analizować przy pomocy programu Bruker DataAnalysis zainstalowanego m.in. w czytelni czasopism Biblioteki Wydziałowej WChUWr.
